I'm Nolan Gore

I'm the General Manager and Owner of Top Choice Lawn Care, a growing landscaping business in Austin. Outside of work, I do Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, wear cowboy hats, and read a lot (50 books a year).

More importantly - I married my high school sweet heart and we have 4 kids.

Most importantly - I love Jesus and I cuss a little.

My story

I’m a small business guy who happens to run a 7M landscaping company.

Here's how it happened -

I’m the son of an entrepreneur. I started as the kid that shot employees with rubber bands in the office. And then I was the kid that worked on crews.

When I got out, I didn’t know what to do, but had an opportunity to buy a little landscape co. It was doing 1.6M in revenue and losing money. Seemed like a good idea :)

I went to Texas A&M and then joined the Marine Corps where I was a combat engineer officer. I was deployed to Iraq and also did a big exercise in Oman. I loved the USMC.

9 years later, we are doing $7M in revenue and we are profitable.
